Governance forums enable OSW to bring to bear the power of a collective voice in driving the delivery of OSW IT requirements by a single IT commodity service provider. They strengthen communications with customers and IT service providers and help change the paradigm from provider-led to customer-led.

The two active governance forums for OSW Information Technology are:

OSW IT Enterprise Committee – Acts as the voice of OSW decision-making body to vet issues and recommendations before submitting decisions and recommendations to the OSW Management Forum for decision and action.

Pentagon Area Customer Council - Guides and champions Pentagon Area IT efforts, recommendations, and resources required to successfully modernize the IT enterprise. The PACC determines the OSW Enterprise's position on IT related issues.
