The Information Management & Technology Directorate within the Office of the Performance Improvement Officer & Director of Administration & Management Overview serves 17 Principal Staff Assistants, 6 Defense Agencies/Field Activities, and 3 Information Technology Service Providers. The Director of Information Management & Technology and OSD Chief Information is currently Danielle Metz.

Director for Information Management and Technology - Danielle A. Metz



Ms. Danielle Metz is a member of the Senior Executive Service and serves as the Director, Information Management and Technology / CIO, OSD. In this role, she will lead the strategic modernization of the OSD IT enterprise to ensure the highest levels of DoD leadership have access to a modern, digital user experience to execute their mission. She will ensure the continuous improvements of the OSD IT enterprise through strategy, governance, performance management, resource management, and stakeholder involvement.
